Brilliant venue; big enough to create atmosphere but small enough to be intimate

Dream Wife are such an unusual band. Very good musicians and throw everything into performance. Songs have a unique sound

More energy than a pint of vodka Red Bull!

Dreamwife are simply the best live band around. Masterful performers, totally engaged with the audience, going to their gigs is like having a week at a health farm - you come out feeling upbeat, energized and ready to take on the world! The venue is great too, newly built, great small space for intimate gigs. Fantastic night!

Dream Wife delivered...

Small informal venue, friendly and helpful staff, bar reasonably priced for on tap beers etc 👍🏻. Both support bands were good, the main act, Dream Wife, did not disappoint, really nailed it. I knew they were going to bring it and they brought plenty. Wonderful 😍

Indie rock trio Dream Wife capture the energy and excitement of riot grrl, punk rock and pop punk.

Their band members are Rakel Mjöll (lead vocals), Alice Go (guitar, vocals), and Bella Podpadec (bass, vocals).

They have three full-length records, including Dream Wife (2018), So When You Gonna... (2020) and Social Lubrication (2023).

Artist Bio

This ain’t your average house party. Dream Wife invite you to jump into the mosh pit. London based musicians Alice, Bella and Icelandic singer Rakel formed at art school in Brighton where the project began as a performance art piece. Dream Wife make music embracing their love for edgy pop. Oozing girl power the music juxtaposes simple pop hooks, cutting riffs and screamy dreamy vocals.

The world of Dream Wife is brought to life with; roaring live shows, an empowering attitude embracing the strength of femininity, and collaborations with vibrant creatives of the London scene.

Since forming in 2015 as a college art school project, Dream Wife - a name chosen as commentary on society’s objectification of women - have become one of the foremost up-and-coming bands out of the U.K. Now the band release Dream Wife - their debut album via Lucky Number. When it comes to their sound, Dream Wife worships at the twin altars of David Bowie and Madonna. A scene unto themselves, their gigs are a riot of handmade props and stage sets that cover everything from space beaches to haunted graveyards, while their finely tuned show is the product of extreme DIY beginnings.
