Coldplay, Principality Stadium, Cardiff - 12th July 2017

Amazing evening

Wow, what a concert. The light show was fantastic with everyone sporting a wrist band which lit up throughout the evening. The firework show and Rob Rydon singing at the end. I am not a welsh speaker but the atmosphere was electric, on top of all that were Coldplay! I am a loss to describe how good they were.

Outstanding!

This was my first gig at the Principality Stadium, and my first time seeing Coldplay live and neither disappointed. It was the most phenomenal concert I've ever been to. Due to the inclement weather, the stadium had to put the roof over, and oh my god... it was the best ever experience. 2 hours of solid Coldplay, they never missed a beat, and the whole experience was inclusive with our light up bands!! I don't think I put my arm down once!!! BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Brilliant Night

Coldplay put on a great show as always, with a full mix of songs from all albums. The sound and sights were excellent with flames, fireworks, balls, streamers, light up wrist bands in sync with the show and sound for the audience. A walk out platform down the middle from the front of stage. The band are great and Chris is so full of energy and gives his all to each show. I would definitely book to see them live again.

Great but something missing

It rained!! My god it rained! We were like drowned rats but we sat and dried off in our very expensive seats, not even being soaked to the skin could dampen our spirits!! So there we are 4hrs on the M4 for a journey that should have taken 1hr20, soaked but still up for a sing and dance!! The lights went out, the music began, the crowd went wild, and the 3 of us were up on our feet singing and dancing to a head full of dreams....... and then a steward tapped me on the shoulder and said can you sit down please? What? I won't ask you again?! What??! We were a small pocket amongst other small pockets determined to have a good time and grumpy guts steward didn't like it! We sat down, it was either that or get thrown out! 3 songs later about 50 people around us had stood up, the rules had changed! The rest of the night we sang and danced. So in summary a great night but it was better at Wembley where the entire crowd got up and got into it!

There are few names in the world bigger than Coldplay. Rising from their indie days in the mid-nineties to become one of the greatest rock bands of all time, they enjoy international celebrity status, unilateral critical acclaim and staggering commercial success.

From tender heartache to euphoric anthems, Coldplay reach deep inside and touch each and every listener. Having packed out live performances and sold over 80 million records sold worldwide, there can be no denying the unstoppable musical force they have become.

Coldplay are drummer Will Champion, sing Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland and Guy Berryman on bass.

Following the release of their incredible seventh studio album entitled A Head Full Of Dreams, Coldplay have announced a very exciting massive live event. See them take over the Principality Stadium at Cardiff on Tuesday 11th of July, 2017.
