Seen Nile and Chic several times. They never disappoint, the whole audience is up an dancing from the first song and everyone knows all the fantastic music

Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Haydock Park Racecourse, Newton Le Willows - 11th August 2023
I absolutely loved this concert! We have seen Nile and Chic at the 02 previously but we seemed so far away where as here the venue is brilliant as you really feel part of it and can get so close if you wish. Nile Rogers and Chic are simply amazing a proper uplifting concert and the best bit for me was that I knew every single song. Suitable for all ages young and old l! I am crossing everything that we have the pleasure of them coming back to Haydock next year because 100% I will be back and bringing all of my friends and family with me.

An amazing set from Nile Rodgers and Chic. The support acts were also very good. Venue was lovely and the whole town seemed involved in the event with bars and cafes staying open. Access to castle was smooth and all security and event staff were friendly and professional. Leaving was well organised. Didn't get to try food and drink as was soaking wet! Well done Ludlow . Roll on next year.

There is no doubt that Chic was disco's greatest band. Working in a heavily producer-dominated field, they were all about the awesome performance and wild appearance. Chic appeared in the late 70s, and have remained a defining sound of partying and indulgence ever since.
Considered one of the greatest live bands of all time, CHIC’s sound is undoubtedly defined by the rhythm guitar and musicianship of Nile Rodgers, resulting in some of the biggest dance singles of all time including 'Get Lucky', 'Let's Dance', 'Good Times', and 'Le Freak’ (which was recently inducted into the 2015 Grammy Hall of Fame).
Rodgers created the template for funk, dance and even hip-hop and has collaborated with some of the world’s biggest stars including Madonna, David Bowie and Duran Duran, and more recently Daft Punk.
