Bôa is a British alternative rock band known for their eclectic mix of rock, jazz, and trip-hop influences. Formed in the mid-1990s, the band gained international attention with their track “Duvet”, which became the opening theme for the anime Serial Experiments Lain. The song, featured on their debut album Race of a Thousand Camels (1998), introduced their distinctive blend of ethereal vocals, intricate guitar work, and atmospheric production. Led by vocalist Jasmine Rodgers, the daughter of rock legend Paul Rodgers, bôa's music stands out for its unique fusion of styles and thought-provoking lyrics.
While bôa has a global fanbase due to their connection with the anime world, they’ve also cultivated a strong following in the UK, performing at venues across the country. Their follow-up album, Get There (2005), further solidified their sound and showcased their ability to evolve while maintaining their core identity.
